About AI/ML Software Biomedical Teaching

Hi, I'm a senior at Harvard studying Mathematics with a secondary in Computer Science. Currently, I am a member of the Geometric Machine Learning Group at Harvard SEAS in the Department of Applied Mathematics, advised by Professor Melanie Weber where I am working on novel approaches for machine learning on directed networks using discrete Ricci curvature.

I was awarded the 2024 MIT Summer Geometry Initiative Fellowship at MIT Computer Science and AI Lab (CSAIL) where I conducted geometric processing and machine learning research in computer vision and computer graphics advised by Prof. Justin Solomon. Previously in 2023, I was a Machine Learning Research Intern at the University of Oxford Big Data Institute, advised by Prof. Aiden Doherty in the Wearables Group.

Before that, I conducted computational research on population health at Universidad Mayor in Santiago, Chile, under Prof. Nicolas Montalva with a fellowship from Harvard DRCLAS. Even before that I was a research intern during my gap year at the biotech company Detect researching SARS-CoV-2 primers for at-home molecular Covid-19 diagnostics from 2020-2021. I started my research journey in 2019 in the lab of Professor Akiko Iwasaki at Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Immunobiology where I published my cell culture and molecular research contributions in PNAS related to birth defects and molecular biology.
